The area
La Guardia is located at the entrance to the Giglio Island harbour, directly on the beach, overlooking the sea and the two lighthouses marking the piers.
From the ferry landing, La Guardia is just a short walk along a completely flat stretch.
Giglio Island is connected to the mainland by ferries operated by Toremar and Maregiglio. The port of embarkation is Porto Santo Stefano, in the municipality of Monte Argentario, in the province of Grosseto.
